Diamond Way Buddhism-France

Diamond Way Buddhism France belongs to a network of lay meditation centers within the Karma Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, founded by Lama Ole Nydahl and under the spiritual guidance of His Holiness the 17th Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje.
Our Buddhist centers and groups are places where people can learn to meditate and receive authentic Buddhist teachings in a friendly, modern context.

The Buddha gave three levels of teachings for different types of people: Theravada, Mahayana, also called the Great Vehicle, and Vajrayana, which literally means “The Diamond Way”. The Vajrayana teachings are for those who do not see the Buddha as an external deity or force, but rather as a mirror of their own mind.

Diamond Way Buddhism or Vajrayana is based on practical and solid methods, with an accessible and modern style which makes it possible to develop the inherent qualities of the spirit, in particular by working on the confidence and the desire of each one, by using each situation in life to develop joy and fearlessness.

Diamond Way Buddhist Centers and meditation groups are places open to anyone interested in developing the mind through a Western and secular approach without needing to understand Tibetan language or culture. The meditations and the names of the different Buddhist forms have been translated into our language, with an open style, corresponding to our culture.

In France, the Diamond Way Buddhist Center is located in Paris and meditation groups in provinces.
